Nail Care

Hello friends, today I am ging to give you some advice on how to have healthy nails.

   1. Don't cut your cuticles. This is really important, because this will not only make cuticles look worse (red, swollen and ragged), but may also land you a nasty infection that harms the nail bed and leads to permanent nail damage.
2.Moisturize, moisturize and miosturize. This is the most important thing, in my opinion. It will make your hands feel softer, but it will help your nails grow faster (especialy if you moisturize around the nail bed).
   3. Avoid rough emery boards.  Those old-fashioned emery boards are to harsh for nails, causing small fissures and cracks that can lead to breakage. Instead use file nails with a smooth, fine file and don't saw back and forth, try to file in one direction only. ( try a nail file like the one in the picture)
4.Don't overdo hand washing and limit contact with cleaning chemicals. As healthy as it can be to wash your hands frequently, overdo it can wreak your nails. And when you are doing housework or laundry, minimaze contact with harsh chemicals, by wearing rubber gloves.
5.Swipe away that old nail polish. We've all been guilty of wearing a manicure out to this unflattering point.
To prevent peeling away at chipped nail polish, remove it one week after.
   6. Keep a nail file handy for emergencies. It is important to keep one with you, to smooth any rough edge and prevent further damage.

Hope this is going to help you to have the nails you are dreaming about.
